The Office of Career Services invites speakers, frequently Loyola alumni, from different organizations to speak to students. These presentations/panel discussions are an excellent way to showcase your organization and raise its profile on campus. Presentations have covered such diverse topics as effective interviewing, small firm hiring, obtaining a job outside of OCI, and various practice areas such as Employment, Health Care, Entertainment, International and Business law.

Some special programs are the Government Fair, the Networking Reception, Small Firm Receptions and the Mock Interview Program.

• The Government Fair offers students a chance to speak with representatives from a variety of government agencies.
• The Networking Reception provides students with an opportunity to network with attorneys from small law firms, government agencies, public interest organizations, large law firms and bar associations.
• Several times a year, small firm employers conduct on-campus interviews for summer and current law clerk positions at our Small Firm Receptions.
• The Mock Interview Program offers students a chance to engage in mock interviews with attorneys.
