Using find and replace in Word

Sometimes you need to look for a certain word, phrase, footnote or image in a document. If it's a long document, that can be a daunting task. Word has a quick way to find these items.

On the vertical scroll bar to the right of your Word document, there is a circle icon between the up and down arrows. This is your "browse object" link. Click it and then select from the many search tools available.
