Windows Critical Update Validation

Summary:
You are being re-directed to instructions on how to download and install critical updates from Microsoft

Description:
Windows critical updates are required to be installed on all student computers in order to gain internet access.

You are currently being placed in a Temporary Role with limited network access to perform the necessary updates. Depending on which updates are missing, you may be required to perform several reboots.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: It seems like I'm always installing updates. Is this normal?

A: Yes, Microsoft usually releases updates once a month. With Automatic Updates enabled your workstation will retrieve these for you.

Q: I just did this, why am I still failing this requirement?

A: Some updates require a reboot before others can be installed. Thus, there will be times when you need to repeat these steps to get all critical updates.
