Public Interest Fair
The Loyola Law School Public Interest Fair held on November 8, 2007, was a huge success. Loyola would like to extend its thanks and gratitude to the many agencies and their representatives, who participated at this years fair. Loyola is honored to annually host the fair and utilize this event as a means to actively match law students with public interest law firms seeking pro bono clerks, volunteers, and public interest minded students. The Law School is proud of its extensive public interest law program, especially the 40-hour pro bono graduation requirement.
Some of the agencies represented at this years event are:
Asian Pacific American Dispute Resolution Center, Bet Tzedek Legal Services, California Lawyers for the Arts, California Women's Law Center, Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Children's Law Center of L.A., Eviction Defense Network, HALSA, Homeboy Industries, Inner City Law Center, Jenesse Center, Lambda Legal, Legal Aid Foundation of L.A., Neighborhood Legal Services, Public Counsel, and many more!
As always, students do not need to register in order to attend this event. It is free and open to all classes (1Ls, 2Ls, 3Ls). Casual Attire.
