Corporate Law

The Corporate Law Track prepares students for a practice that focuses on formation, governance and financing of business entities, with a primary focus on corporations.  The track includes courses that prepare students for representing corporations and other business entities in a civil business litigation practice, as well as courses that prepare students for representing corporations (and other business entities) in a transactional practice.  For those students who plan to practice corporate law as transactional lawyers, it is strongly recommended that they plan their upper division curriculum to complete the three core courses and, in their third year, enroll in at least one section of the capstone course, Business Planning.
